giả lập linux trên VM Ware !

Tôi nghe nói có 1 cách không cần cài linux , nhưng vẫn có thể thực hành được linux bằng cách cài phần mềm giả lập máy tính : VMware (virtual michine ware ) trên windows. Không biết tôi nói thế có đúng không , vậy ai đã thử vấn đế này rồi vui lòng nói rõ hơn cho tôi biết với. Vì PC của tôi yếu quá (P II) không thể cài nhiều thứ được , và tôi cũng dang muốn tiếp xúc Linux !

Hồi xưa khi mới học Linux mình cũng có ý định giống như bạn vậy, nhưng mấy cái phần mềm virtual michine ware nó đòi hỏi RAM cao lắm (bộ nhớ cho cả 2 Platform mà).

Chào bạn,

Minh nghĩ rằng với PII thi không thể làm được nhiều việc. Cấu hình tối thiểu phải là PIII, 128 Mb RAM và khoảng 5Gb ổ cứng. Với cấu hình trên bạn co thể vừa chạy Windows trên máy chính và chạy Linux trên máy ảo.

Về cài đặt chi tiết bạn có thể tham khảo trên báo PCworld hay trang web LeHoan.

Theo ý mình thi chạy VMware 4.0 tốc độ rất tốt, tính năng hay hơn những version cũ.

tôt nhất kô cài VMWARE vì no chạy linux ko được tôt lắm đâu.Các bạn dùng nhiều sẽ thấy.Nếu có điều kiện thì chạy dual boot tốt hơn

Đúng là VMWare nó yêu cầu về phần cứng khá cao, tôi đã cài nhiều lần các bản VMWare 3, 4 trên cả Windows và Linux

Trước đây tôi cài trên máy P4 1.5G 128M Ram thì không dùng nổi

Cấu hình của máy tôi hiện nay là P4 1.8G, 256M Ram, HDD 7200 rpm, đó là cấu hình khá cao
Tuy nhiên khi tôi cài VM4 lên Win2000, rồi cài Win98 lên VM4 thì chạy khá chậm (tôi cấp cho 128M Ram)
Khi cài VM4 trên Redhat8, rồi cài WinXP lên VM4 thì có khá hơn, WinXP nhận phần cứng ảo khá ngon lành, nhưng thỉnh thoảng cũng vẫn bị giật.

Tôi nghĩ rằng, yêu cầu chủ yếu vẫn là Ram, bao giờ tôi sẽ thử cài trên máy 512M Ram xem sao

Sao không thử cài VMWare WS v4.x lên WindowsXP Pro, rồi cài tiếp Linux lên VMWare.

:) Hi U,tôi cũng đang xài VM ware đây bản 4.3>Theo tôi để việc giả lập máy ảo được ngon lành thì tôi xin nêu ra cấu hình như sau (đây chỉ có tính chất tham khảo)
-CPU :Pentium 4 (Hỗ trợ HT càng tốt)
-RAM:Cái này hơi đòi hỏi cao 512 Mb (256 cũng được nhưng đừng chơi 128 chậm đấy)
-HDD:>40Gb
Riêng về cài Linux thì tôi đã thử cài rồi nói chung là ổn (dĩ nhiên với cấu hình như trên thì quá tuyệt) >Nếu bạn muốn cài Linux những phiên bản mới thì bạn nên kiếm VM ware 4.X trở lên

Hi,pinkbeat bạn thử dùng Virtual Machine 4.0 thử coi chương trình này giúp bạn giả lập máy ảo chạy song song với Windows nhưng phần mềm này đòi hỏi RAM hơi cao đó >Để việc giả lập máy ảo được ngon lành thì RAM bạn tối thiểu nên 256 Mb
(tốt nhất là 512 Mb).Bạn cài VM ware (viết tắt của Virtual Machinr ware )vào rồi chọn Edit with new virtual machine >rồi chọb danh sách HĐH cần cài vào là xong (khỏi sợ mất dữ liệu)
