Ngày 28 tháng 2 tới đây, Cisco sẽ cập nhật mới kỳ thi CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate).
Môn CCDA mới này sẽ tập trung nói về vấn đề mạng doanh nghiệp (enterprise campus) nhằm giúp người kỹ sư chuẩn bị, hoạch định, thiết kế, triển khai, điều hành và tối ưu hệ thống mạng. Course mới cũng bao gồm các case-study và đề cập đến mô hình SONA. Để học CCDA code mới, Cisco khuyến cáo rằng bạn phải có kiến thức CCNA và CCNP-BCMSN. Code mới của kỳ thi CCDA là 640-863.

New Course and Extensive Case Studies Emphasize Converged Enterprise Network Model Approach and Cisco SONA Services
Early modular approaches to network design divided networks into three hierarchical layers of access, distribution and core, with separate models for the campus area and the wide area network (WAN) area. The converged enterprise network model extends the hierarchical model to all modules in the enterprise to facilitate preparing, planning, designing, implementing, operating and optimizing (PPDIOO) networks.
Additional updates to the Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) curriculum includes extensive case studies and the presentation of services virtualization based on the Cisco Service Oriented Network Architecture (SONA), shifting the vision and function of the network from a pure traffic transport-oriented view to a service and application-oriented view. The new curriculum incorporates current products, technologies, services and solutions and provides a foundation for students to gain the knowledge and skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services.
The new DESGN exam 640-863 enables a candidate to validate their knowledge and ability to design and implement scalable internetworks.

Course Prerequisite: The recommended course prerequisite is CCNA-level knowledge, with additional recommended knowledge as taught in the Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN) course.
