Hi All,

I am configuring the site to site vpn between ASA 5505 and PIX515E. The PIX has T3 connection. However, the ASA has dsl via a Bridge to DSL provider. The default getway of ASA is DSL provider IP. Also, route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 x.x.x.x (default getway IP). From my laptop (behind the firewall), I do a ping command to default getway then got dropped 75%. Also, from external network, I do ping default getway (dsl provider ip) got 100% successfully but got 75 % dropped when do ping command to ASA external IP. I will ask the remote people to check the cable and reboot the bridge and ASA too but I post here so that you can point me to some directions.

Any advices should be appreciated!!!

Note: sorry I do not have VNI font installed into my laptop so that can not write in Vietnamese.

Thanks!

Nguyen

The problem was on Duplex mismatch on the ASA and other sides.
