Proxy có tác dụng của một web cache, khi user trong mạng đó lướt web thì nó sẽ cache lại những content mà user đó đã browse qua. Cơ bản là vậy thôi, ngoài ra nó còn có tác dụng ngăn chặn những site nào mà user đuợc quyền truy cập hoặc không.

Caching Proxy Server

A www proxy server is the answer for many companies, who are looking for ways of minimizing the costs of giving their employees access to the Internet, and yet, increasing the access control the company has over its accessible web sites.
